The Clock Inn is a hostel and bar in the heart of Prague city center. Nightlife, sights, 24h public transportation: all right at our doorstep! The Clock Inn offers private rooms for groups from 1-8 guests as well as classical dorm facilities, with plenty shared, pristinely clean bathrooms on every floor.
Our bar is open daily from 8am-4am for your morning coffee, afternoon beer and evening shots. On our top floor with rooftop terrace you’ll find plenty of communal space to work, relax and read, or have fun with friends watching movies, playing billiard, darts or foosball. Use our dedicated work spaces to focus and get your work or study done.
We organize events 5 nights a week: DJs, live music, movie nights, family dinners, yoga sessions and much more.
The Clock Inn has multiple floors dedicated to ERASMUS 2021-2022 students only. Accommodation starts under 7,000czk/month including ALL costs. All our rooms have shared bathroom facilities on each floor.
Private Double Rooms
Our Private Double Rooms look over the courtyard, ensuring peacefulness all day long. You will
have your own Double size bed, coffee maker and small fridge for your convenience. Shared
bathrooms are just steps away.
Private Double Rooms with Balcony
Our coolest and most quirky are the Private Double Rooms with Balcony. Yes – you access them through one of our dorm rooms. But once you lock your door behind you, these rooms and their balcony are completely yours. We provide some capsules for your own Tchibo coffee maker, and the firsts two beers are on us. Enjoy them on your private terrace!
4-bed rooms
Our 4-bed rooms are available as whole room only. Whether you’re travelling with 2, 3 or 4 friends: these rooms offer you the privacy of your own room, at a price you can’t find anywhere else.
8-bed rooms
Our largest rooms offer beds for up to 8 guests. Book the entire room for your group and enjoy the privacy; or go for a classical dorm style bed and meet new people every day you wake up
Bar
Our bar is open daily from 8am-4am for your morning coffee, afternoon beer and evening shots. On our top floor with rooftop terrace you’ll find plenty of communal space to work, relax and read, or have fun with friends watching movies, playing billiard, darts or foosball. Use our dedicated work spaces to focus and get your work or study done.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What time is check-in and check-out? Check-in starts from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Do you accept cash payments? No, we do not accept cash, only card payments are possible (except
American Express).
Do you have an age restriction? Minimum age required is 18. Guests under 18 years old must be
accompanied by an adult responsible for the minor during their stay. We can not accommodate
unaccompanied minors. We are a youth hostel, most of our guests are between 18 – 35 years old.
Do you offer luggage storage? Yes, we provide free luggage storage room for guests before check-in and
after check-out for the day – no additional cost.
Do you serve breakfast? We do not provide breakfast, but we have a spacious kitchen for guests to use
and grocery stores are very close by.
Do you provide bed linens and towels? Bed linens are included, and towels can be requested at reception
– 1 towel per stay per person is included.
What are the reception hours? Our reception is open 24/7 for your convenience.
Can I bring outside guests into the hostel? Outside guests are not allowed to enter the hostel’s premises
past the main gate.
Do you have Wi-Fi? Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel.
Are there lockers available? Yes, personal lockers are available in the dorm rooms. Please bring your own
padlock or you can purchase one at reception.
Do you have hairdryers? Yes, there are hairdryers on each floor attached to the walls next to the
bathrooms.
Is there a kitchen for guest use? Yes, we have a fully equipped communal kitchen available for guests.
Equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, stove, small oven, cutlery and dishes. Kitchen is open 6 AM until
10 PM.
Do you organize events or activities? Yes, we regularly promote and organize events and social activities.
At arrival, please make sure to ask the reception for more info.
What is your cancellation policy? Cancellation policy depends on which rate you have chosen when
making the booking:
● Non-refundable rate bookings are non-refundable in case of cancelation.
● Flexible rate bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled checkin time (before 3 PM CEST). If a reservation is not canceled within this timeframe, the first night of
the stay will be charged.
How do I get to the hostel from the airport? To get to The Clock Inn from Vaclav Havel Airport Prague,
you can take trolleybus 59 from the airport terminal to Nádraží Veleslavín station. From there, transfer to
the green metro line A and ride to Můstek station. The hostel is just a short walk from there. Whole journey
will take about 45 min – 1h and you will need to buy a public transport ticket valid for 90 minutes.
You can also use Uber or Bolt for a more direct ride to the hostel.
Where to get a public transport ticket? You can buy Prague public transport tickets easily at the airport or
any metro station. Here’s how:
● At the Airport: Ticket machines are located near the trolleybus stop and inside the terminal. They
accept card payments.
● Ticket Machines: Found in all metro stations and many tram stops. They take both CZK cash and
cards.
● Mobile App: You can use the PID Lítačka app to buy tickets directly on your phone.
● Newsstands & Shops: Some Relay stores and small kiosks also sell paper tickets.
● Inside a tram: You can buy short time tickets inside the tram, using tap card payment.
Don’t forget to validate your ticket when you first enter the trolleybus or metro station!
